"Even after being attached to the path of God and devoting one's energy to it, one can still develop attachment to materialistic worldly pursuits at any stage".
Here Guru Maharaj Ji shares an incident when; Bhakat ji after fulfilling the worldly life deeds decided to opt. Yogi path and went to the forest for Bhakti. One day he heard the roar of a lion coming towards his place, and by the power of yoga he resisted the coming of the lions by developing an aura around himself, so that no animal could harm him and engaged in the devotion of Lord Rama.
After a while, the lion approached the nearby deers passing away. Stunningly one of the deer got the attention of a lion and ran to protect self. The deer was pregnant with a baby and while running, when she jumped from the river passage area, she unknowingly gave birth to a baby deer, which fell into the river flowing below.
All these activities caught the attention of Bharat ji and he decided to save the newborn deer from the river. He started taking care of the baby deer and devoted half of his time to feeding and caring for it.
The bond of affection between Bharat ji and the deer was so strong that the purpose of going towards the forest to reach God in time got blurred and Bharat ji spent most of his time in taking care of the deer and protecting it from external danger.
Certainly, one day the deer saw the group of deer passing away, and went with them, while Bharat ji did not notice this incident and when woke up got upset thinking about the separation of deer.
However with time at the last stage of life of Bharat ji before death, Bharat ji got climes of thought about the separation of deer and the attachment, which somehow created karma of Bharat Ji, Leading him to take a re-birth as a Deer.
Concluding all the above, it is very important to live a life separate from others for oneself and maintain inner attachment with God to remember God's love at the time of death to avoid creation of rebirth karma.
