According to spiritual wisdom, there is one supreme God and His divine consort, Maa Bhagwati, who exist as the eternal energy of the universe. Maa Bhagwati gave birth to:

  • Three sons: Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Mahesh, each entrusted with cosmic duties.
  • Three goddesses: Maa Saraswati, Maa Lakshmi, and Maa Parvati, who were paired respectively with Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.

These eight powers together govern and sustain the universe. The ninth power is the Guru, who stands third in hierarchy after the supreme God and Maa Bhagwati.

The Guru descends on earth to bless humanity, guiding souls directly with divine wisdom. Just as counting begins with 1 and ends with 9, the nine powers complete the universal cycle. The symbolism of 9 planets and 9 days of Navratri also reflects this truth.

When a soul surrenders to a true Guru, it receives the blessings and vision of all nine divine powers. 🙏

Rahu Dev
Shani Dev
Shukra Dev
Brihaspati Dev (Guru also belongs here, besides being the third after Almighty and Bhagwati)

A: The Almighty has designed the human body with 72,000 nerves, controlled through three main channels—Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna.

Ida & Pingala are activated by breathing through the left and right nostrils.
Sushumna
is awakened automatically through the balance of Ida and Pingala along with chanting of the holy name.

These three channels further distribute energy to
14 secondary channels—seven directing energy upward (upper body) and seven downward (lower realms like Patala, Atala, etc.).

Together, they regulate the entire 72,000 nerve network. Those who practice Yog Kriyas under guidance maintain proper nerve function and enjoy health, while neglect may cause hidden imbalances leading to disease.

Guru Maharaj Sant Trilochan Darshan Das Ji explains that there are four types of devotees:

1.       Arta – Those who remember God only in times of suffering and difficulties of worldly life.

2.       Atharthi – Those who practice devotion with the expectation of gaining wealth or material benefits.

3.       Jigyasu – Those who are curious and eager to learn about spirituality but are not yet fully committed.

4.       Gyani – The highest devotees, who have crossed all previous stages and remain firmly devoted to God and Guru, unaffected by health, wealth, family, or social conditions. Their only goal is to attain God and walk the true spiritual path.

When we live with a spirit of seeking, listen to scriptures, meditate, sing hymns, and enjoy the company of devotees, we naturally develop compassion — caring for elders, being concerned for animals, and dedicating ourselves to helping others. This brings inner joy and peace, which are signs that God is pleased with us.
But if our mind feels restless, we avoid spiritual gatherings, and we lose love for nature, it indicates we may be walking on the wrong path — a sign that God is not happy with our actions.

A person falls under Kalyug’s influence if they engage in habits like eating meat, eggs, or flesh, consuming alcohol or drugs, speaking untruths, living in lust, or disrespecting saints and God’s messengers. Such deeds bind them in darkness, keeping them away from God.
To escape, one must slowly overcome these habits.

Though Kalyug resists strongly at first, with repeated efforts, guidance from a true master, and chanting the divine name, a person develops the inner strength to fight their weaknesses and ultimately defeat the darkness within.

"Das Dharam Amar Rhe" means that a Das can never die and lives forever. A true Das never speaks ill of others or harms anyone in anger. They do not use harsh words, even towards another Das.

Those who speak badly and harshly have polluted their DNA and are considered to have a devilish nature, not belongingto God’s people.

Wealth is one of the strongest forms of maya (illusion), and while we love to earn and spend, very few understand its true purpose. Since the time of Guru Ram Das Ji (the 4th Sikh Guru), it was made mandatory for devotees to dedicate one-tenth of their earnings to the Guru’s feet and the path of dharma.

This practice carries deep spiritual significance:

Divine Blessings – Offering wealth selflessly brings inner peace, balance, satisfaction, compassion, and the wisdom to make right decisions.

Freedom from Greed – It prevents blind attachment to money and teaches the true value of wealth.

Protection from Loss – Those who neglect this practice often face financial instability, health problems, losses, or other disruptions.

Service to Humanity – The contribution supports those in need who come to the Guru, ensuring wealth is used meaningfully.

Spiritual Growth – By mastering the maya of wealth, we transform money into a tool for good rather than bondage. Thus, giving a tenth of our earnings is not about loss—it is about gaining both worldly balance and divine grace.

From the time of Ramayana to today, the title Das carries profound spiritual significance. A Das is a humble servant of the Supreme God, someone who transcends worldly barriers to dedicate their life to divine service and the betterment of society.

The Red Tilak on their forehead symbolizes an awakened soul, always striving to unite with the Divine through good deeds and pure thoughts.

Lord Ram himself explained Dasya Bhakti to Mata Shabari—the seventh form of devotion, where one surrenders completely to God and lives as His servant.

Guru Arjan Dev Ji also expressed this humility in Gurbani:
Moko koye na janat kahi att Das tumhara

("Oh God, no one knows me; I am nothing before You. Like me, there are countless servants at Your feet.")

To be a Das is to walk a path of selflessness, humility, and unwavering devotion—living not for fame or personal gain, but in service of God and humanity.

In Ayodhya, the sacred land of Lord Ram, adding “Das” to one’s name symbolizes total surrender to God. It reflects humility, selflessness, and the spirit of being a true servant of the Supreme. Hazur Maharaj Darshan Das Ji, in apji's bani Yashwanti Niradhar Dham Pehla, expressed this by saying:

"Mein neech tere das ko dassa"

(“Oh Lord, I am the lowest servant among all Your devotees.”)

Despite belonging to the revered Vasudev Gotra, HazurMaharaj never showed pride or superiority. Instead, he lived as a humble servant of God, breaking barriers of ego and caste, and guiding countless souls toward pure devotion. The essence of Dasatya Bhakti is that true greatness lies in humility and surrender to God’s will.

When Maa Laxmi is called upon alone, she arrives on an owl (ullu), which in common language symbolizes being fooled by maya. Such worship leads people into a restless life — sleepless nights, parties, pubs, and indulgence in temporary pleasures, even during Brahma Muhurat (4 AM), a sacred time meant for chanting God’s name. This creates a cycle of material entrapment that is very hard to escape.
True blessings of Maa Laxmi are received only when she arrives with Lord Vishnu, Sheshnag, Garuda, and Hari Om. In this divine union, her presence brings lasting prosperity, peace, and spiritual grace.

There are two categories of people with developed minds.

The first group consists of knowledgeable individuals who make mistakes and regret them. However, the brainless individuals never feel remorse for their mistakes and continue without reflection.

The second category includes wise people who anticipate situations and prevent mistakes before they occur. They are known to attain a stage of a sage -BrahmGyani.

To elevate oneself from a lower state of mind to a higher one, one must associate with true saints and participate in spiritual gatherings. Only then can divine energy guide the mind, leading to a deeper understanding of life’s smallest intricacies.

The great spiritual universities of ancient India—such as Nalanda and Takshashila—were once the most powerful centers of learning.

They taught humans not only how to connect directly with divine energies, but also how to communicate with demi-gods and goddesses. Their knowledge decoded sacred languages, enabling people to understand the communication of birds, and even the subtle signals of ants. With the arrival of the Mughal Empire, much of this sacred wisdom was forcefully destroyed—holy scriptures burned, and enlightened masters silenced.

Today, it is time to reawaken that knowledge by returning to the feet of true holy masters, who still carry the flame of real divine understanding.

When Guru Nanak Dev Ji was about to leave for his third Udaasi (12-year journey), Mata Tripta Ji held his arm and said, “Son, now that you are married and have children, you must stay home. If you leave again, you won’t return for 12 years. Please take care of your family.”

Guru Nanak Dev Ji gently responded by asking, “Maa, who gave me you, my wife, and my children?” Then He answered Himself, “It is that Supreme Lord who blessed me with everything. Therefore, my first duty is to Him.”

The spiritual message in this exchange is profound: Our foremost responsibility is toward the One who gave us everything—God. Even the love and care for family should not overshadow our devotion to the Divine purpose of life.

When Tulsidas Ji was imprisoned in Agra by Emperor Akbar for refusing to write a holy scripture in praise of him—as he had done for Lord Ram—he humbly denied the request. Tulsidas Ji told Akbar that even the Ramayana was written only by the blessings of Lord Shiva, and he could not write about a mortal king. He said he could write only for Lord Ram.

At the time, Tulsidas Ji was 97 years old when he was jailed in Agra.

In deep devotion, Tulsidas Ji prayed internally to Lord Hanuman to help free him from jail. In response, Hanuman Ji granted Tulsidas Ji divine sight and appeared to him, saying,

In Kalyug, I cannot help you directly. By the command of the Almighty God, my powers remain locked until the birth of Kalki Avatar."

Then, all my powers will be unlocked. But to help you now, I will send an army of monkeys in huge numbers to set you free.”

As promised, a massive number of monkeys attacked Akbar’s palace. The soldiers and army of Akbar were left helpless and could not withstand the overwhelming attack. Amid the chaos, a wise person from the community advised Akbar to release Tulsidas Ji in order to stop the monkey invasion.

Following this advice, Akbar ordered the release of Tulsidas Ji from jail, and the miraculous attack of monkeys came to an end.
