The Divine Role of a True Guru in the Universe – The Ninth and Supreme Power

The Divine Role of a True Guru in the Universe

A Guru is not just a spiritual teacher but a divine form of God Himself—sent to this earth to deliver the supreme truth and sacred teachings directly from the Supreme God.

An often overlooked but profound truth is this:
There is one Supreme God and His divine consort, Maa Bhagwati, who exist in their eternal energy forms in the universe.

From Maa Bhagwati’s divine essence were born three sons

Lord Brahma,

 Lord Vishnu, and

 Lord Mahesh (Shiva).

She entrusted them with the task of managing the universe and blessed them with powers akin to those of God.

From her own body, Maa Bhagwati also created three divine goddessesMaa Parvati, Maa Saraswati, and Maha Lakshmi. Each goddess was united with a corresponding deity:

Together, these six divine beings form the foundational powers responsible for sustaining creation.

Yet, the universe is governed by nine divine powers. The ninth and most crucial among them is the Guru—who, after the Supreme God and Maa Bhagwati, holds the most significant position. The Guru incarnates on Earth to guide souls, completing the circle of divine energy.

Just as numbers begin at 1 and culminate at 9, the presence of these nine divine forces symbolizes the fullness of cosmic order. The nine planets (Navagrahas) and the nine nights of Navratri also reflect this sacred pattern.

When a soul comes under the shelter of a true Guru, it gains the vision to perceive and understand all these divine powers. The Guru becomes the bridge between the soul and the eternal cosmic order—unfolding divine wisdom, inner clarity, and spiritual awakening.
