He Who Was, Is, and Will Always Be – The Timeless Divine
It is not that God existed only in Satyug and disappeared in Dvaparyug, nor that He was present only in Treta Yug and is now absent in Kalyug.
The Divine is eternally present — in Satyug, Treta, Dvaparyug, and even now in Kalyug.
This truth is beautifully revealed by Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Japji Sahib: ਅਰਬਦ ਨਰਬਦ ਧੁੰਧੂਕਾਰਾ ॥ ਧਰਣਿ ਨ ਗਗਨਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥
“There was darkness all around, no earth or sky—only God's infinite command prevailed.”🌌 There was a state when nothing existed—no earth, no sky, no sun, no moon, no time—only the Supreme Eternal Being, immersed in Sunn Samaadhi, the infinite void of absolute stillness and awareness. There was only darkness, an eternal fog (dhundhukara), and the will of God (Hukam) alone prevailed. Guru Nanak Dev Ji discloses that before any form, any creation, God alone existed in the timeless void.
✨ Divine Act of Creation
It was through God's command (Hukam) that the Bhagwati (the Divine Creative Force, Shakti) was directed to begin creation.God did not just create the world; He also created Himself in form, to manifest as the seen and unseen, the formless and the formed. The universe we live in today is not new—it has been shaped and reshaped era after era, by this Divine Will.
