Life Is a Journey, Not the Destination—God Is
जीवन एक यात्रा है, मंज़िल केवल परमात्मा है
Life is a journey, not a destiny.
What is destiny?
Suppose there is a leaking tap in our house. We don't ignore it—we get it repaired immediately. Guru Maharaja Ji uses a similar example to explain how a soul gets distracted from the true path and how errors begin to arise within it.
We live in this human body as if we own it forever. However, this body does not truly belong to us. It belongs only to the Creator, God. We have been entrusted with it only for a short period; we are not its permanent owners.
We are merely travellers who have come into this world to walk the path of life designed by God. During this journey, we meet many people and experience different relationships—our parents, friends, teachers, spouse, children, home, school, and many other attachments. They are all part of the journey we are travelling through in this life. They are not the final destiny of the soul.
So, what is the true destiny?
The true destiny is God.
Until a soul attains God, it will continue travelling from one experience to another, searching for lasting happiness, peace, and contentment. Only when the soul unites with God does its journey reach its true destination.

Gurbani says:
"Jo sukh kau chāhai sadā,
So saran Rām kī leh."
Whoever desires everlasting happiness should seek the refuge of the One Supreme Creator—Waheguru (Ram). Only the Divine is the true source and eternal giver of peace, joy, and lasting happiness.
