lotus-img

“You have been awakened, my child, to be a light in dark times. Heal the suffering, speak My truth, and guide those who have lost their way. You are not here for fame, but for service — a messenger of divine peace.”

"Son, you have come to bear the burden I will give you for the betterment of this world. You have been chosen by the universe to become a completely enlightened human being, a Brahma Giani."

Maharaj ji continued his work and once again tried to lift the entire bundle on his head, due to which he lost his balance and fell on the ground. Almighty God helped Maharaj Ji in lifting the bundle on his head.

Upon returning home, Maharaj ji immediately removed the bundle from his head and lay down in the cow shed. Guru Maharaj Ji's mother noticed his unexpected behavior of not returning for breakfast and, upon approaching the shed, saw that Maharaj Ji appeared unwell with a high fever.

She asked Maharaj Ji if everything was alright, to which he waved his head and said he was fine, not sharing the incident that had occurred in the fields with her. Following this incident, there was a change in Maharaj Ji, and he adopted the habit of limited conversation with those around him for the next three years. This incident marked the beginning of changes in Maharaj Ji's lifestyle.

At the age of 17, decided to go to his aunt's house in Jalandhar to work in a factory. He expressed this desire to his parents, who initially encouraged him to join the family business and learn the trade there. However, Maharaj Ji insisted on pursuing his wish to work in the city, expressing a desire to join the family business later. Eventually, both his mother and father agreed to Maharaj Ji's wish. Maharaj Ji's sister, Darshna ji, also accompanied him to Jalandhar to take care of him and assist their aunt with household activities.

One day, while on his way to the factory for work on his bicycle, Maharaj Ji returned home after covering a few miles. He placed the cycle on the side of the house floor, went to the top floor, and lay down on the bed. Maharaj Ji's relatives noticed his unusual behaviour and became concerned about his health.

Maharaj ji's eyes turned red, marking the beginning of his journey towards attaining Brahma-gyan from within.

The Divine Awakening of Maharaj Ji

lotus-img

At that sacred moment, Maharaj Ji's eyes opened with divine awareness. He began revealing the innermost thoughts of those around him, as celestial visions of Bhagwati, Lord Shiva, and Guru Nanak Dev Ji unfolded before him. With trembling hands and awakened spirit, Maharaj Ji embraced his divine path — to ease pain, share truth, and guide humanity through the light of the Almighty.

As soon as he opened his eyes, Maharaj Ji observed his aunt standing nearby and began to read the minds of those around him, speaking aloud the thoughts and inner processes of everyone present.

Subsequently, Guru Maharaj Ji received divine visions of cosmic powers, including Bhagwati (the mother of Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Shiva), Lord Shiva, and Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Initially, Maa Bhagauti bestowed divine vision upon Maharaj Ji, blessing him with spiritual powers. Maharaj ji instructed those around him to prepare Prasad after receiving the divine Darshan of Bhagwati ji, then fell asleep, awakening with tears in his eyes.

Following this, Maharaj Ji experienced the divine sight of Mahadev (Lord Shiva), who imparted satsang to him before meditating. Maharaj ji slept once more and upon waking, requested those nearby to pour a bucket of water over him for a bath.

Finally, Guru Nanak Ji provided divine vision to Maharaj Ji, who narrated his experiences and interactions with spiritual powers to those around him. Maharaj Ji's hands and body trembled due to the spiritual contact.

All of these experiences awakened Maharaj Ji's spiritual powers, leading to his transformation into Maharaj Darshan Das Ji. With the energy of the omnipresent Almighty God awakened within him, Maharaj Ji directed people to spread the message that he had come to alleviate the sorrows and problems of their lives.

In spiritual gatherings, Maharaj Ji would directly address people by their names without needing introductions. During these gatherings, he would reveal the secrets of people's sorrows and sometimes even recount their activities from previous lives. All these miraculous events were conveyed to Maharaj Ji's parents in Batala, India, informing them of their son's transformation into Baba Ji (Spiritual Preacher).

Upon hearing the news of Maharaj Ji's transformation, his parents grew concerned. They had sent him to Jalandhar with the expectation that he would secure a job there, but now he had become Baba Ji, which puzzled them greatly.

Mata Ji, Maharaj Ji's mother, was particularly distressed by this revelation. In an effort to cure her son of his condition and return him to a normal life, she embarked on a journey from Batala to Jalandhar, carrying with her the dust of her Guru's feet, believing that it would bring about his recovery. As Maharaj Ji continued to meet people and alleviate their sorrows, he also foresaw the arrival of his mother, Mata Ji, traveling by bus from Batala to Jalandhar.

Through his divine powers, Maharaj Ji was aware of every detail of Mata Ji's journey, including the bus number she was traveling on. As Mata Ji approached Jalandhar, Maharaj Ji instructed his Sevadar to welcome her and provided him with the bus number to ensure a smooth reception.

Mother was astonished to see servants welcoming her and assisting with her luggage as she arrived. They informed Mata Ji that Maharaj Ji had sent them to receive her, a clear indication of Maharaj Ji's omniscience. This display of divine knowledge only added to Mata Ji's tension.

Just a day after Mata Ji's arrival, Maharaj Ji's father, Jagan Nath Ji, also decided to travel to Jalandhar. Similarly, Maharaj Ji made the same announcement for his father's journey, and two servants were dispatched to receive him at the bus stop.

New arrivals to Guru Maharaj Ji, known as Sanghas, were blessed by Maharaj Ji without needing to disclose their names or sorrows. He addressed each person by their name and recounted stories and deeds from their previous lives. This phenomenon quickly spread throughout Jalandhar, India.

His blessings hold the potency to actualize one's desires and resolve life's challenges. Such blessings resonate deeply, fostering unwavering trust and drawing devotees from far and wide, including those from London who travel in packed buses for miles seeking solace in Maharaj Ji's shelter.

One poignant instance illustrates this power vividly. A distressed mother, hailing from Nava-Pind, Batala, sought Maharaj Ji's help when her two children, Kanta and Bitta, found themselves on the wrong bus, lost and alone. Overwhelmed with worry, she sat in the congregation, catching Maharaj Ji's attention. Sensing her anguish,

Maharaj Ji assured her, saying: "Mother, I will bring your children back to you."

Instantly, Maharaj Ji assumed another form and set out to rescue the children. Simultaneously, as he sat before the distraught mother, his divine intervention unfolded. Maharaj Ji intercepted the bus ferrying the lost children, addressing them with reassuring words:

"Kids, your mother is worried about you. Alight from this bus; it’s the wrong one."

Initially hesitant, the children complied, stepping off the bus.Maharaj Ji then directed them to board the next bus bound for Navapind, cautioning them against repeating the mistake.

He promised them: "If you stray again, I will come to your aid once more. Stay on the correct bus."

Turning to their mother, Maharaj Ji conveyed: "Your children are now on the right bus, heading back to Navapind. Proceed to the bus stand to receive them."

In this miraculous display of divine compassion, Maharaj Ji’s power transcended physical boundaries — guiding lost souls back to safety and reuniting a worried mother with her beloved children.

4. The Ability to Transport Oneself to Distant Destinations in Seconds

Maharaj Ji possesses the remarkable capability to instantaneously transport his physical form to locations miles away.

One of Maharaj Ji's extraordinary powers is the ability to transport his physical form across vast distances in mere moments. During a pilgrimage to seek the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi, the devotees noticed a remarkable phenomenon. While the sangad embarked on the journey on foot, Maharaj Ji seemed to traverse the distance instantaneously, appearing at various locations ahead of them.

As the sangad advanced on their pilgrimage, Maharaj Ji would instruct them to proceed while he mysteriously appeared at their destination moments later. This uncanny ability left the devotees astonished and curious about the nature of Maharaj Ji's powers.

On one occasion, a member of the sangad inquired from individuals seated near Maharaj Ji how long he had been conversing with them. To their amazement, the duration matched the time it took for the sangad to reach that point. This revelation left them in awe of Maharaj Ji's capacity to transcend time and space.

Subsequently, Maharaj Ji instructed the sangad to continue their journey while he ventured alone to seek the divine presence of Mata Vaishno Devi in solitude. Upon their arrival at the Bhavan, the sangad once again encountered Maharaj Ji engaged in spiritual discourse with others.

Later, Maharaj Ji expressed his desire to have a divine vision of Mata Vaishno Devi in a deeper form, beneath the displayed idols. He sought permission from the temple priest,

And said: “I want to talk to Mata Pindia that is present below 5 feet under these idols.”

The temple priest got stunned and said, “Who are you?”

Maharaj Ji replied: “I am son of Mata. She has called me to give her Divine Darshan. Kindly allow me to go bottom side to talk to Mata.”

Maharaj Ji went underneath alone, and remained there for 15 minutes, and came out after having Amrit Jal.

5. Conversation of Maharaj Ji with Lord Krishna

During the Holi festival, Maharaj Ji declared to the assembled crowd that Lord Krishna had summoned him for a private meeting and instructed that no one should follow him. He proceeded to the backside of the gathering to converse with Lord Krishna.

Despite Maharaj Ji's instructions, a curious individual named Ishwar Chand, a doctor, surreptitiously followed him and watched from behind a wall. During the conversation with Lord Krishna, Maharaj Ji noticed Ishwar Chand's presence and became angered, questioning why he had disobeyed the directive.

In the midst of this encounter, Maharaj Ji beheld the divine form of Lord Krishna, radiant and adorned with a 'Moor Mukat,' surrounded by a brilliant light. Witnessing this divine sight is exceedingly rare, as it is granted only to the chosen few, akin to how Arjuna received divine vision from Krishna.

As a consequence of his disobedience, Ishwar Chand lost his mental faculties and, despite pleas from his family for Maharaj Ji's intervention, faced the repercussions of his actions, eventually succumbing to his abnormal state.

Lord Krishna instructed Maharaj Ji to annually celebrate the Janmashtami festival in Das Dharma. Since then, Janmashtami has been commemorated every year in Sachkhand Nanak Dham. Additionally, Maharaj Ji composed several songs in praise of Lord Krishna, including one with the following verses:

“Edi mithi Shama Veh tu Bansi Na Bajaya Kar, Jaya Kar Sohnya Tu gaua Nu Charaya Kar”
"O sweet-natured one, do not play your flute so softly, Sing it louder, my beloved, enchant the whole world."

As the number of snakes attending satsang increased, the people of the congregation began to feel uneasy and requested Maharaj Ji to address their fear of the growing snake population. Maharaj Ji reassured them, stating that the snakes were their protectors and were blessed by Lord Shiva as the guardians of the congregation. Some of these snakes were even capable of assuming human form and attending satsang sessions.

Despite Maharaj Ji's reassurances, the congregation persisted in their request to address the issue of the increasing number of snakes in Loni. Responding to their concerns, Maharaj Ji beseeched Lord Shiva to internally transform the snakes into rats, who are traditionally known as the companions of Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva.
