Hanuman Ji’s Unshakable Devotion: Proving God is Present Everywhere

Once, when Mata Sita blessed Hanuman Ji, she gifted him her precious pearl mala.
 Hanuman Ji accepted it with folded hands but then began doing something unexpected.

Hanuman Ji started tearing the mala, examining each pearl one by one, looking at them closely, and then throwing them aside. Mata Sita, surprised and somewhat dissatisfied with his actions, asked:

“Hanuman, I gifted you this precious mala with love. Why are you tearing it apart and scattering the pearls?”

Hanuman Ji humbly replied:
 “Maa, I am searching for my Lord Ram in every single pearl. But I cannot see His divine presence here, so I cast each one aside.”

Maa Sita explained, “Hanuman, these are lifeless pearls. God does not reside in non-living things. He resides in the living — in the conscious, not in the inert.”

Hanuman Ji, with folded hands, said:
 “Maa, I do not understand this philosophy. For me, my Lord Ram does not live only in my soul — He also resides in my body.”

Saying this, Hanuman Ji tore open his chest and revealed the radiant image of Lord Ram and Maa Sita within his heart. With folded hands he said, ‘Maa, see — not only does my Lord Ram reside here, but you also dwell in my heart.’

This indescribable faith and boundless love of Hanuman Ji proved that God can manifest in any form — in body, in soul, in every particle of existence. All that is needed is true devotion, faith, and bhakti.
